Quod Sumus              


When I was a little girl, I loved to go to story hour at the library. Later, when I began working in the Children's department, Dottie, the woman who always read to us, became a coworker and friend. When she was diagnosed with cancer, she asked me to see what I could come up with by way of affordable, attractive headcoverings. We discussed plans for months, as her health allowed.

As I researched, I discovered that, while there were many outlets available for adults (see my links page) Children with Cancer had been neglected in this area. My goal is not to make money, but rather provide a central location for information and resources for parents and children dealing with cancer. Using Austentation as a base, if there hat styles or designs you cannot find or would like, I would be thrilled to help develop them.

My highest goal in all of this is not only to make things easier for families dealing with this disease, but also to point them to the ONLY source of peace and comfort- at this time- or any time. Jesus says, Come unto Me and I will give you Rest. Cast all your Cares on Him- He cares for you. Even when things seem darkest, Jesus is there. He understands your pain. He longs to have you trust Him- to comfort you now- and always.

Death is a fact of life, but it need not be the end of life. God has promised, to those who believe on Him- who confess their sin and seek forgiveness- a future hope- at the moment of physical death- entrance into His presence and glory in heaven. Even eventual reunion for families separated by death. But first- you must seek His face.

God Loves You! God wants You to have His Peace and Eternal Life.

Romans 5:8 (KJV) But God commendeth his love toward us that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Sin separates us from God. God's Peace and Eternal Life are lost because of our sins.

Romans 5:12 (KJV) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

God has provided a gift of New Life. This Life is in Jesus Christ.

Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

You can have this Life! This Life is made available through Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:1 (KJV) Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Romans 10:9 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:13 (KJV) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10:10 (KJV) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
